Hey all. It's meeeeee! This weekend has been crazy with fun, fun, fun. I went shopping with one of my buddies twice...once on Friday and the other on Saturday. We were trying to find the perfect outfit for our friend's surprise b-day party...only to end up having to return to exchange some pants that could not fit. THESE HIPS DO NOT LIE!
About seven or eight of us went to dinner, and the waitress overcharged me...THREE TIMES! So I have to complain to her supervisor this week :). But, I was sooo stoked because I wanted my friend to be really surprised when we all returned to her room. And she was. We brought her 20th birthday in the right way, with decorations and great cake...mmmm. Afterwards, we got dressed and headed everywhere to find a party on my campus...Don't forget this, remember when I told you earlier that my campus lacks livelihood when it comes to the party scene...well we walked through this snow stuff to a party that was not even that great. We went back to the beginning, and stumbled upon a really great party that both my friends dj'ed...woot!
I will for sure not be going out next weekend...as it will be a personal one for me. I've just been crazy busy with school. AGHHHH! Midterms are coming soon, btw.
Nonetheless, I'm happy with the way things turned out...just overall, I'm happy :).
"Baby, I finally know what I'm going after,
I'm learning to let in all the laughter,
holy moly,
you're so funny,
you crack me up,
you crack me uuuuupppp,
lookout for dreams that keep returning"
- Devandra Banhart's "Baby"
I like the simple things in life to be meshed with crazy. That term is something that I cannot find in a dictionary, let alone describe it in one sentence. I love all kinds of music, mainly hip-hop; there's something about it that connects the people, with the people. I like crystals and I like the thought of traveling and keeping a journal to tally all of the places that I've been. I am on a journey to find myself as I am currently in college; life presents so many different experiences, sometimes it's very hard to keep up with them...Which is why I wouldn't mind kickin' back on a Fall evening, sipping hot chocolate and listening to mos def...reflecting.
